QUEER REVOLT, DePaul’s first citywide undergraduate LGBTQ+ Studies conference has been conceived and organized by DePaul undergrads in the LGBTQ Studies program, and will occur on Saturday, May 11th. It will be held on the 3rd floor of the Student Center.
Invited speakers include DePaul LGBTQ Studies Alum and 1st openly LGBTQ Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison, and University of Chicago Professor, C. Riley Snorton, author of Black on Both Sides: A Racial History of Trans Identity.
Students can submit individual papers or propose whole panels or roundtables. The deadline for submissions is currently April 10th.
