Furrow Magazine’s Last Call to Submit! Extended Deadline

Furrow is an award-winning, full-color print journal published each spring by undergraduates at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a website that features new work each month.

They accept poetry, fiction, nonfiction, art, and comics by anyone enrolled as an undergraduate in the U.S. during the 2020-2021 academic year. Students who graduated in December 2020 are still eligible.

If you’re an undergrad making art, comics, or literature, they want to see it! In the midst of these crazy times,Furrow wants to keep publishing meaningful work in a beautiful format.

Crook & Folly Open for Submissions

Submissions for poetry, creative nonfiction, fiction, dramatic literature, and micro-prose are now open! 

Any submissions sent in by 11:59 pm on February 12th will be given feedback and then have a chance to edit and resubmit their piece. After February 12th, all submissions will be received as is and the deadline is March 12th. 

Submissions to multiple genres are allowed; however, please include the genre you are submitting to in the email’s subject line. You may submit your work to multiple genres, but you are only allowed to submit up to three pieces for poetry. The magazine is run and sourced by students, so it is strictly open as an opportunity for you! The selection process is anonymous.
