Mochila Review undergraduate writers’ contest

The Mochila Review is a national undergraduate literary journal published by Missouri Western State University. They are currently hosting an annual writers’ contest for undergraduate students, called the Undergraduate MoRe Prize.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
This year, the contest will be open to poetry submissions only. Contest submissions will be accepted through the website (www.mochilareview.com) from October 1 to December 1. The winning writer, selected by guest judge Nikki Giovanni, will be announced January 1. He/she will receive a $50 prize and publication in our 2016 issue. The Undergraduate MoRe Prize is separate from regular submissions and there is a small entry fee of $5.

The Mochila Review is the international undergraduate literary magazine published by Missouri Western State University. The magazine is seeking fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and art submissions for its 2015 issue.

Beginning this year, The Mochila Review is offering a writers’ contest for undergraduate students. This year, the contest will be open to poetry submissions only. Contest submissions will be accepted through our website from October 1 to December 1. The winning poet, selected by our guest judge, nationally-acclaimed poet Taylor Mali, will be announced January 1. He/she will receive a $50 prize and publication in our 2015 issue. There’s a low $5 fee for each submission and no limit to how many times you submit.
