Register Today for The Scholar’s Improv IV!

Led by improv comic Pete Parsons, the comedians will present six improvised scenes showcasing their talent, quick minds, and artistry. These moments will be interspersed with the mini-lectures by DePaul professors, each accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation in his or her field but which he or she has never seen before.

By the end of the evening, you’ll see that what academicians do by thinking on their feet.

See Your Work Performed Live with Fictitious

fictitious.png

Fictitious is accepting rolling submissions for short pieces of comedic fiction! Once selected, authors will be invited to read their piece at our live show at iO Chicago every fourth Wednesday of the month. These pieces can only be 1-3 pages, but longer stories will be considered for our online journal.

For the show, selected authors will read their work and a group of iO improvisers will then improvise within their literary world. There is no submission fee and submissions can be in PDF or Word format. The next show is going to be Wednesday, April 27th at 10:30pm at iO Chicago!
