A Note From the 2012 EGSA Committee:
The EGSA conference proceedings are up, and we would like to thank the presenters, the keynote speaker, Mahmoud Saeed, our photographer, Ryan Jones, and faculty advisers, John Shanahan and Craig Sirles.
Congratulations to all forty-three of our presenters at this year’s conference and to the twelve undergraduate and graduate students featured in the proceedings.
We hope you enjoy the proceedings and photos from the conference!
The deadline to submit your original works of fiction, nonfiction, literary criticism and poetry for the EGSA Conference is 11:59pm, March 19. You can find more information on the conference, including application forms, and proceedings published from the last year. Those who present papers in the conference will have the chance to be published in this year’s proceedings. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity!
In addition to submitting their writing, undergraduate English students and graduate students in the MAE and MAWP program are encouraged to submit original art for the cover of the April 13th conference program. The image which best represents the conference’s spirit of joy through creativity will appear on the program cover and with the conference proceedings published on the Underground, Ex Libris, and possibly in print. More information and submission guidelines here.
