UW is a fully-funded program: all admitted students receive stipends and tuition waivers for two years. Graduate students in the Department of English at UW have the opportunity to study and research in all areas of English and cultural studies, from poetry and film to popular culture and rhetorical theory. We offer concentrations in literature and in rhetoric and composition, together with a career-focused Public-Facing Thesis Portfolio capstone option.
