Science fiction is reshaping not only China’s literature landscape, but also its technological imagination and innovations. Now China is aiming to lead the world’s artificial intelligence industry by 2030. This panel features three experts in Chinese science fiction, world science fiction literature, and software engineering who will share their views about how China is becoming a science fiction powerhouse, how authors alarm the public of current social issues via science fictions, and how China is seeking and pushing technological innovations.
