Selected Shorts: Too Hot For Radio is a spin off of the popular public radio show and podcast Selected Shorts where stars of stage and screen read short stories aloud in front of an audience.

The show will feature readings by Carrie Coon (The Leftovers), Kirsten Vangsness (Criminal Minds), Justin Kirk (Weeds), K. Todd Freeman (Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me host, Peter Sagal performing humorous and saucy stories by Benjamin Nugent, Michael Czyzniejewski, Rebecca Schiff, Andres Dubus that, due to language issues or content advisories are, well, too hot for radio. The evening will be hosted by comedian Kevin Townley.
