The final deadline to submit to Crook & Folly, the DePaul student literary & art magazine, is tonight, February 23rd, at 11:59pm!
The magazine, published annually, is an amazing compilation of student work from across the DePaul community and a reflection of the talent our students possess.
Yours truly is this year’s creative nonfiction editor and I can tell you the 2015 edition is one you’ll want to be a part of. SUBMIT your poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, microprose, dramatic text, or artwork to crookandfolly@gmail.com.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Subject line should be the GENRE
Your submission should consist of TWO ATTACHMENTS:
1st ATTACHMENT: Your Literary Submission
Requirements:
*your name should not appear on the first attachment
*you may have one submission per genre.
*you may use excerpts from long works, so long as they can stand alone.
GENRES & GUIDELINES:
>FICTION: 5,000 words or less
>MICROPROSE: 1,000 words or less
>CREATIVE NONFICTION: 5,000 words or less
>POETRY: 1-3 poems up to 3 pages
>DRAMATIC LIT: screenplays or short plays up to 10 pages
