Printer’s Row and the Chicago Tribune Present Veronica Roth, Author of the Divergent Series, and Garth Nix

On Monday, Oct. 20, best-selling author of the “Divergent” Series Veronica Roth, fellow best-selling young adult fantasy author Garth Nix and Chicago Tribune columnist and author Jenniffer Weigel will discuss Roth and Nix’s latest books and their experiences writing for adventurous young readers around the world.  Fans of Roth’s “Divergent” Series will also enjoy exclusive access to “Divergent Collector’s Edition,” which features 72 pages of bonus material, one day ahead of the rest of the nation.  A book signing with both authors will follow the speaking program.  This author talk is presented by Trib Nation Events and the Printers Row, Chicago Tribune’s literary membership program.

“Four: A Divergent Collection” and “Divergent Collector’s Edition” as well as Nix’s “Clariel” are available for a special discounted pre-sale price with tickets now.  Roth’s dystopian “Divergent” books have sold more than 20 million copies worldwide.  “Four: A Divergent Collection,” which was released in July, includes four prequel stories and three scenes to accompany the three-book series.  Nix’s “Clariel,” a prequel to the “Old Kingdom” trilogy, will be released one week before the event. The Australian author of award-winning young adult fantasy novels will join Chicago-native Roth in a rare appearance together.
