LAS 2014 Summer Undergraduate Research Grant (SURG) Program Taking Applications

If you are interested in conducting research over the summer and are looking for financial support, this program is for you. Full-time undergraduate students in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences have the opportunity to apply for the Summer Undergraduate Research Grant (SURG) program. If accepted to the program, students will be awarded a taxable stipend of $1500 to pursue research, scholarly, or creative projects over the summer. Students will design a project and develop a proposal.

Applicants should have a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher and must be registered for at least 12 credit hours the spring preceding and the autumn following the summer in which the grant was awarded.
